Situated on the North West tip of the island the Rendezvous resort is set in a beautiful botanical garden. The air is scented with the blooms of orchid, oleander, hibiscus, anthurium and other exotic flowers.
At the centre of the resort is the 150-year-old giant Samaan tree; at night its huge branches are lined with tiny lights that cast a romantic glow. After dark, the tree frogs trill a lullaby while you sip your drink on the deck by the sea.
This wonderful garden paradise is perched right on St. Lucia’s longest white sand beach, two miles of sand in which to sink your toes. This is as pleasing for a morning jog as it is for a hand-in-hand twilight stroll; perhaps sharing a bottle of champagne.
It is also a beach meant for lounging and lazing. Park yourselves under a palm tree to cast your eyes on the distant mountains of Martinique just peeking hazily above the horizon. Perhaps escape the brilliance of the sun by taking a few steps up to the Terrace Bar for a cold drink. Whatever you end up doing, enjoy it.
